A Sketch of the Vision for Augustus and Carolina Building, 830 & 822 Front Street - Height Variance needed to go from 35 / 3 stories to 5 stories.
David Kossove presented his ideas for his Old Carolina Inn property and Armory building in hopes of working with DOT to get a stop light at the Church Street and Broad to make that the gateway into the Historic District. He also presented a sketch of what he envisions for the Augustus and Carolina buildings if he can get an increased height variance to 5 stories. City height restriction presently is 3 stories/35 feet.
